In this special edition of the KUHES podcast, recorded on Friday, the 23rd of February, 2024, I spoke to Mgonjetsi, a senior MBBS student, who wants spiritual lounges shutdown permanently.
He, alongside his staunch backers, says spiritual lounge users & the noise produced have been tolerated for far too long. The noise is really disturbing, he adds.
Most church members think this is an attack on them and prayers.
Look at the following screenshots showing how intense the debate was on the 16th and 17th of February after the Religious Director announced temporary closure of spiritual lounges.
Then someone quoted the Holy Bible 😳
Mgonjetsi faced resistance and criticism 👇
More criticism
So what are your suggestions? Should they remain open or be closed for good?
Here’s a quick poll (confidential)
Thanks for reading/listening and have a wonderful week!
